Some have white wings. Some are fully black. They have patterns. They are also small.

They live in fields and meadows.

They drink nectar. Nectar is from flowers.
The caterpillars eat milkweed plants.
WHAT ARE BABY BUTTERFLIES CALLED?
They are called caterpillars. They don't look like butterflies.
Some have dots.
