BOOK CLUB The Newman Book Club’s next book will be The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis. We will meet on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30 pm in the Library. Join us as we discuss works of fiction by authors with Catholic sensibilities.

FAITH 101, FORGOTTEN BIBLE, meets in the Fr. Quigley Room, 7:30-8:30 pm, on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The facilitator that week introduces the book, guides the discussion, offers resources. ASH WEDNESDAY COLLECTION

Thank you to all who supported Newman’s Alternative Spring Break trips to Appalachia and Puebla by giving to the Ash Wednesday collections. The collections totaled $1879.00. CATHOLIC MEN’S CONFERENCE

Bishop McDonnell calls all Catholic men to at-tend the 5th Annual Catholic Men’s Confer-ence on Saturday, March 17 at Cathedral High School in Springfield. Speaking at the confer-ence this year will be Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR (you may have seen him on EWTN), Tony Melendez (musician), Gerry Faust (former Notre Dame foot-ball coach), and Tom Seaman, who will give a brief witness story entitled Facing Adversity.
