About MBA/PGDM in IEV:

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has introduced a

unique 2 years’ full time PGDM / MBA program in Innovation,

Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV) in the year 2019. This

is an action oriented program to provide opportunities for students to

work and develop problem solving innovations, acquire

entrepreneurship skills and build ventures as part of curriculum. This

program is an initiative under the National Innovation and Startup Policy

of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and AICTE with an objective to make Indian

higher education system to produce new generation entrepreneurs

capable of building innovative and simultaneously earning master

degree.

Approved Institutions:

For the academic year 2020-21, a total of 15 Higher Educational

Institutions (HEIs) have received approval from AICTE to offer an

innovative and incubation centric 2-year full-time PGDM/MBA program

in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV).

Enthusiastic candidates with creative tendencies, entrepreneurial

potential, and intent to pursue innovation and startups as a career are

invited to take admission into this program. To facilitate the admission

process a specially designed online national level Common Entrance

Examination on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CET-IE) 2020 is

scheduled to be held on 5th September 2020 as one of the qualifying

examinations.

Uniqueness of Program:

Course is designed to provide more experiential learning opportunities

and to practice innovation and entrepreneurship and skill set for building

startups. By design, incubator will deliver the course and students will get

access to co-working space and facilities of pre-incubation and incubation

to develop innovations and further to startups.

Eligibility: The minimum academic eligibility for a candidate to apply for

this program should be a graduate in any discipline of course (10+2+3)/

(10+2+4)/ (10+3+3) with at least 50% Marks. UG candidates those are

waiting for final result also can apply by clicking “Final Result Awaited”

and upload a self-undertaking that he/she will furnish certificate to

institute at the time of personal interview. Preferably candidates for this

program are students having entrepreneurial mindset and ideas, passion

for innovation and strong determination to build and run startup as career.

Admission Procedure:

To facilitate the admission, process a specially designed online national

level Common Entrance Examination on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

(CET-IE) 2020 is scheduled to be held on 5th September 2020 as one of the

qualifying examinations.

Important Dates:

o Online Registration: 5th to 28th August 2020

o Issue of Admit Card: 31st August 2020

o Date for Online Mock Test: 1st & 2nd September 2020

o Date for Final Online Test: 5th September 2020 (Saturday)

o Declaration of Result & List of Eligible Candidates for PI – 10th Sept.

Registration: Application must be done online only by using the

registration link (http://cet.cbtexam.in) in AICTE webpage (www.aicte-

india.org) and MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) webpage

(www.mic.gov.in).

Test Mode: Proctored online test will be held.

Minimum/Basic Technical Requirement for Proctored Online CET-

IE 2020:

o Windows 10, 2 GB RAM, Core 2 Duo, 64 BIT,20 GB Free HDD Space in

‘C’ drive, Single plug and play colour Web Camera and Microphone

with proper driver installed and working.

o Only single LAN cable on test node machine and Internet with

automatic connect mode and 5 mbps uploading and downloading

bandwidth, If candidate use Laptop than it should be use inbuilt web

camera and mic, Also can use wi-fi for internet with connect

automatically.

o Antivirus should be disabled.

o Windows Defender service should be disabled.

o Screen Saver and Sleep mode should be off.

o All connections should be properly or No loose connections at test

node machine like- VGA Cable, Power Cable, LAN connection.

o Monitor driver should be single at test node machine.

o LAN wire should be connected, and Network should be enabled.

o DHCP server connections devices should be switched off.

o Exam Player download link and instruction to install player will be

provided one week before examination.

o Candidate need to upload their latest and clear passport size photo

with white background while filling the application form.

o Candidate will be not able to login for examination if the photo is not

clear or older more than 6 months.”

Preference of Institutes: Every applicant has to choose minimum 5

institute(s) of their interest to take admission upon final selection.

Registration Fee: All payments towards registration fee to be made

through online mode only. Registration fee for appearing online test for

different categories as below

Online Test and Time Period: Total duration of online exam will be 90

minutes with 30 minutes’ as preparation time. Tentative time for CET-

IE will be 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

Syllabus & Questions: Total 150 numbers of questions with all

objective and multiple choice related to innovation, entrepreneurship,

IPR, startup under following sections (all the questions will be in

English only).

Final Selection: Each Institute will carry out GD/PI separately for the

eligible/shortlisted candidates preferred for admission upon selection

during the registration. Each institute will display the dates and time for

GD/PI in institute’s webpage and also communicate to candidates

immediate after the result announcement regarding GD/PI those have

opted their institute for admission.

Admission Period: As per AICTE guideline, admission process and

commencement of class will be completed before 15th October 2020

(revised AY 202-21 Admission).
