BEST PRACTICE“Development of educational services and social inclusion for adults from vulnerable groups from north of Moldova”Period of implementation: 2011-2013 Implementing institution: NGO “Mostenitorii”, Republic of MoldovaTarget groups: socially vulnerable adults who want to obtain skills in trades and increase their professional integration on the labor market. Topics of the taught courses: embroidery, tapestry, curative massage, photography, strawberry growth, glass painting, etc. Objectives:Development of educational services and social inclusion for adults from vulnerable groups from north of Moldova. Raising welfare of vulnerable adults’ groups from rural localities throughout vocational trainings.

Results:LLL concept promoted in 5 districts with a population of about 150 000 citizens by organising Days for adult education, round tables, master classes, media. 15 local trainers prepared in Adult Education – workshops, master classes;860 adults from social-vulnerable groups trained/retrained in 14 specialities that do not need much investments for launching (construction and reparation, agricultural growth, folk crafts, household services);About 30% of educated are employed or launched their own affairs.

This pilot-project becomes more popular in the future and also becomes a very useful practice for all the institutions which seek for improvement.

The success of applying distance learning requires a considerable effort from the author of the course, both at the stage of designing and elaborating the new modules, and at the stage of working with the existing modules.

The project presents the ways of organizing individual work of students as the use of the
Windows Movie Maker application for mounting a film about harmless chemical
experiment produced at home by students and the Moodle platform possibilities. It was
noted that these activities increase students' interest towards teaching career and
motivate them to use in their later work as many other offers as the information
technologies give.
