Should managers participate?
 They have three potions:
1. Ignore the grapevine, be no part of it.
2. Participate only when it serves theirpurpose.

Positive Aspects
Organizations cannot fire the grapevine
because they did not hire it. It is simply
there.
1. It is a release mechanism for stress.
2. As stronger personal bonds occur among
workers, a greater spirit of team work exists
within the organization.
