Comfort Rwanda was established in Scotland in 1999 todemonstrate the love and compassion in God's heart forthe poor, the widow and the orphan. We partner Solace

and The Living Church two indigenous Rwandanorganisations bringing aid and reconciliation to widowsand orphans following the genocide of 1994. Togetherwe have seen hearts, homes and livelihoods restored.Today Rwandans live with a better hope for the future.

family miraculously survived3 attempts to kill them,hiding from soldiers for 89days. He lost 99 members ofhis family and now headsSolace Ministrieshelping1000s of widows & orphansfind comfort

Beatalost her husband and5 children. On her way todrown herself from grief shewas invited to Solacewhereshe found salvation healingand restoration. She nowworks with traumatisedwidows.

Kabatesi was orphaned inthe genocide. She leftschool to bring up herbrother, who is dying withAIDS, her sister & niece.Comfort Rwanda hasprovided a house for themunder theSOS (SponsoranOrphan or Survivor) scheme.
