Introduction to AIESEC
AIESEC is an international platform for young people to discover and

aim and commitment to our values, we run more than 470 conferences,
provide 8,500 work abroad opportunities and offer over 9,000 leadership
positions to our members each year.
Since 1948 AIESEC has been an international independent non-political youth
association that aims to promote social understanding, entrepreneurship and
youth leadership in the broader community. Now present in over 1700universities in countries and territories, AIESEC provides young people
the opportunity to work abroad, develop leadership, build a personal network
of friends worldwide and explore the direction and ambition of their future.
The uniqueness of the AIESEC platform
AIESEC aims at attracting and retaining high potential people who are
proactive and want to make a positive impact on society through their actions.
As an organization AIESEC aims at connecting individuals with specific issuebased interests on a global level, thereby allowing them to discover and
develop their inherent potential.
One of AIESEC’s main emphasis is on activating leadership amongst today’s
youth on a global scale, by challenging people to go beyond their limits
thereby becoming proactive, committed, enthusiastic individuals who are “can-
do” people. Through our extensive network, AIESEC gives diverse
stakeholders a chance to interact among one another, which increases the
opportunities and exposure that our membership is provided with. This is what
really provides our members with a “global” outlook without any pre -defined
mindsets.
AIESEC is youth driven and works with and for the youth all across the globe
thereby making it a diverse environment not only in terms of cultures but also
in terms of different ideologies and thoughts thereby enabling individuals to
strive for excellence in all tasks and activities that they undertake.
