Each of these is a force that pulls the product into different direcons. Tradional product thinking assumes business analysis as a sub funcon in the product lifecycle. As business analysts in this changing dynamic, transforming into true product owners and leaders is a very real possibility but needs new “thinking muscles” to be developed. It is about managing the various dynamics – a single requirement vs. product in whole, one customer vs. industry, short term vs long term, minimum viability vs minimum credibility. In this workshop, we will introduce the various conflicng forces, what key skills of BA can be readily applied and what new skills need to be developed and how does this work into the Agile way of execuon, when one transforms into a product owner or a product leader.
