DESCRIPTION

Northwest University began as Northwest Bible institute back in 1934. Equipping men and women for effective ministry has been core to our mission from the very beginning. While other ministry programs have come and gone or have moved away from sound biblical doctrine, we are still faithfully rooted in the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the years, hundreds of our ministry graduates have gone on to make a significant impact for the Kingdom of God. Some have made a difference locally. Others have had a national or global reach. Yet they all had one thing in common. These men and women weren’t just called to ministry. They were well equipped as leaders. Today, the focus at Northwest University’s College of Ministry remains the same: to prepare our students intellectually, spiritually, and personally, and to provide them with the practical tools they need to fulfill God’s unique calling in their lives to lead His church in the 21st century.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR FUTURE, TAKE A LOOK AT OUR PAST. Northwest University began as Northwest Bible Institute back in 1934. Equipping men and women

for effective ministry has been the core of our mission from the very beginning. While other ministry

programs have come and gone or have moved away from sound biblical doctrine, we are still

faithfully rooted in the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ.

Over the years, hundreds of our ministry graduates have gone on to make a significant impact for

the Kingdom of God. Some have made a difference locally. Others have had a national or global

reach. Yet they all had one thing in common.

These men and women weren’t just called to ministry.

They were well equipped as leaders.

Today, the focus at Northwest University’s College of Ministry remains the same: to prepare our

students intellectually, spiritually, and personally, and to provide them with the practical tools they

need to fulfill God’s unique calling in their lives to lead His church in the 21st century.

If you are considering an advanced degree in ministry, choose a university with a rich, successful

history in equipping its students. For more information, contact us at 425.889.7795.

An Affordable Investment Our degrees are competitively priced in the Seattle area. Financial aid is available. Your investment into education can deeply impact your ministry for the rest of your life.

CULTURALLY RELEVANT. BIBLICALLY SOUND.When Jason Deuman was looking for a graduate degree in theology, he wanted one that would challenge him to effectively engage with today’s culture. Most importantly, he sought a program that was biblically sound. He found both with our M.A. program. “I was taught by great professors who were always willing to wrestle with tough questions—but always from a biblical perspective. At NU, I learned how to think about and teach the Bible well.”

Aizaiah Yong is the Next Gen Pastor at New Life Church in Renton. He entered the M.A. in Bible and Theology program with the goal of changing society. As he began taking courses, Aizaiah realized that it was he who would be changed most of all. “The coursework, professors, and classmates all create an amazing atmosphere that doesn’t just shape a person intellectually. It changes your heart and soul. The experience I’ve had at NU has helped me see myself, the church, and the world in ways I wouldn’t have otherwise.”

TRANSFORMATION BEGAN WITH HIMSELF.
