UREC(Pronounced You-Rec; also called HPER, pronounced HYPER) - Use of University Recreationfacilities and most programs is covered by your student fees. Attend a fitness class in oneof the two indoor facilities, swim in the 50M competition pool, run on the indoor track, playon an intramural teams at the outdoor field complex, visit the bike shop and climbing walls,and rent outdoor equipment such as tents, bikes, and kayaks.

UAConnect(Formerly ISIS) - A student information system that students use for enrolling in classes,checking grades, reviewing academic advisement reports, submitting payments to theirstudent accounts, and applying for graduation.

Work-studyThe Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides on-campus jobs for students who havecompleted the FAFSA and been awarded Federal Work Study on UAConnect for the currentsemester. View a list of work-study jobs at finaid.uark.edu/work_study/

TranscriptAn official record of the courses a student has taken and grades received. Your unofficialtranscript for academic advising is in UAConnect. In UAConnect you may request an officialtranscript from the Registrar for a small fee.

Tech Spot Labs(Sometimes called General Access Computing Labs (GACL)) - Computer labs where studentscan print within their quota, ask for computer assistance, and use a wide range of softwareincluding Microsoft Office, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and math and statistical softwareneeded for many courses. Located in the Arkansas Union and Mullins Library (find additionallocations: its.uark.edu).

SI (Supplemental Instruction)A series of weekly group study sessions of students in historically challenging courses. SI is taught by students who excelled in the course previously. SI will help you get together with your classmates, ask questions, and develop strategies for learning. Some instructors require SI. See which classes have SI and register: class.uark.edu/supplemental-instruction.php

RegistrarOffice of the Registrar supports academic life such as class registration, transcripts, and graduation.
