First class products to help our customers stay competitive. This was the Company‘s original objective when BILSTEIN was founded. Now, more than 100 years later, we still stick to this philosophy.

A small factory, which was started in Hagen- Hohenlimburg, developed over decades into the BILSTEIN GROUP, one of the most important cold rolled strip manufacturers worldwide. The success story of our family-owned company became possible through the tireless efforts of our employees and through the vision of our company management. Tradition and progress have a name: BILSTEIN GROUP.

The parent company of the BILSTEIN GROUP has grown since its founding in 1911 into one of the largest suppliers of cold rolled products worldwide. BILSTEIN produces on state- of-the-art computer-aided manufacturing systems. Fully integrated working practices, permit the production of cold strip products in the highest qualities. For decades, produc-ers in various industries have taken advantage of this know-how.

HUGO VOGELSANG has found international recognition as the manufacturer of hardened and unhardened quality steels and stainless steels. The Company was founded in 1908 and has been a member of the BILSTEIN GROUP since 1996. The Company specializes in the closest thick-ness tolerances as well as alloyed and unalloyed steels in all grades in accordance with DIN and EN standards in special and fine steel grades. HUGO VOGELSANG‘s steel strip provides close flatness tolerances and manufacturing margins – even when in a tempered condition.

The C. VOGELSANG cold rolling mill is one of the leading manu-facturers of quality band steels. The Company was founded in 1909 and has been a part of the BILSTEIN GROUP since 2003. It has established its position in the group by specializing on especially thin and thick dimensions. The pro ducts are characterized by extreme ductility and consistency. The reversing mill concept at C. VOGELSANG is the basis for the production of clean surfaces and a variety of finishes.

The Czech cold rolling mill KWW has been the focal point of the BILSTEIN GROUP in Eastern Europe since 2005 and has an outstanding image as a band steel supplier. The Company has a large product portfolio including all grades of traditional cold rolled strip production – including soft iron grades, micro-alloyed grades and carbon steel grades. In addition, KWW operates an in-house heat-treatment plant.

The geographi -cal proximity to international customers and high service quality have the greatest priority for us.

BISS provides a special service – our steel service for small quantities from 100 kg up to 5,000 kg with fast delivery times.With its own production plant, BISS supplies fast, flexibly and unbureaucrati-cally – in the usual First- Class BILSTEIN Quality.

The BILSTEIN GROUP uses BISS to offer a steel service for small quantities with a just in time delivery program.

SHEARLINE STEEL STRIP, as a service center, markets small quantities of cold rolled strips in Great Britain. In addition, the company operates several slitting lines.

The service center BILSTEIN NORTH AMERICA distributes our products in the North American market.

BILSTEIN TRADING (SHANGHAI) is our distribution company in China.
