Dr. Seuss is offering two $500 Scholarships. Here are requirements: *Must be a graduating senior (may be home schooled) *Must include your senior photo (digitally transmitted) *Must be attending an educational institution in the fall (college, tech school, etc.) *Must submit an essay in 250 words or less on the following topic: How did orthodontics change your life? Include your perceptions, thoughts and feelings before braces, during braces and after your braces were removed. Please send your entry to [email protected] by April 24, 2015. The winners will be announced Thursday, April 30, 2015. Since 1996, Dr. Seuss has sup- ported numerous local organizations, charities, commu- nity support groups and clubs. The Boys and Girls Club of Scottsdale was recently chosen as our number one charity for 2015. Over the years, dozens of local area youth have benefitted from orthodontic treatment by Dr. Seuss, free of charge. Pictured is Dr. Seuss and his wife, Adeline, at the recent Blue Door Ball fund- raising event benefitting the club. Easter is a joyful time spent with family and friends. Did you know the Easter Bunny is German in origin and it shows up in 16th century literature as a deliverer of eggs? The significance of eggs came from their symbolizing new and continuing life.
