Cobb County Women’s Journal January/February 2010 22 Home & Garden G. Taylor Roofing s roofing takes a “chill pill” with the winter weather, G. Taylor Roofing will be focus‑ ing its efforts on giving back to our customers and getting ahead of the curve. As any roofer will tell you, staying prepared for spring storms is a winter‑time priority. When the temperature stays in the 30s all day, shingles are brittle and seals won’t adhere; roofing is simply not possible. Our crews at G.Taylor Roofing need sun‑ shine and at least 48 degrees of warmth for comfort and safety. While complete roofing makeovers are almost impos‑ sible during the winter months, we are able to install gutters, windows and siding during the cooler temperatures. How will we be staying ahead of the curve? By giving back to our customers. We value our community and our friends, family and neighbors. We know the value of a referral. That’s why we’re launching several social media and advertising campaigns to educate our cus‑ tomers on healthy roof care. Your home is where your heart is, and your roof needs maintenance just like your body. We have a few tricks up our sleeves to help prevent and even fix leaks yourselves. That way, when the weather gets warmer, our crews are prepared with preparation and opportu‑ nity. A Ginger Taylor, Owner, G. Taylor Roofing We are your local roofing source, roofing it right the first time. When Clark Howard says “Roof locally,” I listen. We are a family owned and operated business, and we have resided in Atlanta since 1969. We live, shop, educate, pray, and most importantly, raise our children here. Our children go to school with your children; I am a former local school teacher and administrator. We give back to our children’s school, places of prayer, and take pride in our local environment. I take pride in being one of the 6.5 million (mostly) female owned and operated businesses in the U.S. With a staff of 5 men and 5 women, we think there is something comforting about having a woman roofing spe‑ cialist come into your home. During the day, we mostly meet with women homeowners and thrive on giving back to these women. Most of all, we practice what we preach. We are held account‑ able by our families, neighbors and co‑workers; and we don’t out‑source. Our integrity and workmanship are superior to any “out‑of‑town,” “stormer” or “fly‑by‑night” roofing com‑ pany. I don’t out‑source, not even out‑of‑state‑source. I am the owner, I am here, and my team is here. I have a business license in the state of Georgia and a business in Geor‑ gia. I don’t live on the beach in some resort, nor do I live out of state and hire a few folks to rake in the money for me. I am here when you sign your con‑ tract and here for the warranty on your contract. I am here for the good times and bad; through prosperity and even the recession. Grow‑ ing my business and supporting our community is important to me. G.Taylor Roofing circulates money within our local com‑ munity. We support Pope High School and High Meadow School. The cycle of life stays local with G.Taylor Roofing. That’s what “Roof locally” means to me. Roofing it Right the First Time. G.
