EVENT SUMMARY: Structure
• 3 1/2 day event starting on April 19th and ending on April 21st
– Sunday, April 19th: 5th Annual Manufacturing Council Meeting
• 3 hours in afternoon prior to Opening Ceremony
• Post Meeting, VIP access to Opening Ceremony
– Monday – Wednesday (April 20‐22): Manufacturing Executive Leadership Forum
• Day 1: Innovation (CIMdata)
• Day 2: Enterprise Integration (Cambashi)
• Day 3: Continuous Improvement
• Keynotes– Single speaker presentation by CEO or other very
prominent executive from Europe and North America
• Panel discussions– Discussion on stage moderated by MA/ME
editor with 3 to 4 speakers comprised primarily of end users but also with one vendor and perhaps one academic and/or analyst
• Fireside Chat Executive Interviews– One to one interview on stage between MA/ME
editor and senior level technology/automation
• Vendor showcase presentations
• Guided Tours– At the end of each day, a guided show floor tour
will be conducted which will bring attendees on a scheduled route to visit with the technologies/vendors discussed in the sessions
– A written description of each vendor will be included in a specially prepared “guide book”
– Vendors will also be sponsors of the sessions

Manufacturing Council Meeting
PURPOSE
• To give manufacturing leadership a united voice around global issues such as competitiveness, the impact of technology and automation, standards, change management, security
• Enable members to be more successful by facilitating the high level knowledge exchange and creating content and programs around issues most important to the membership
• Foster peer to peer engagements, partnerships, and new customer relationships on a global scale to accelerate business agility
• Increase the effectiveness of executives and their enterprises by identifying and communicating the best strategies in the manufacturing arena
DESCRIPTION
• An invitation‐only event for select senior level executives with titles CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, CIO, Managing Director, Partner, Managing Partner, CSO, CKO, CMO, CPO from the manufacturing community. Limited vendor participation and only at the CXO level.
• Board room style format
• Discussion will focus on issues such as global competitiveness, standards, security, change management
ATTENDEE STRATEGY & ESTIMATES
• 30‐40 hand picked executives from North America, Europe and Asia. We will pick from Tier 1 databases from MA, ME and HMI.
• Invitations to be sent hard copy with follow up via high end telemarketing effort.
• Participants will be offered:
– Participation in exclusive forum for knowledge sharing and peer‐to‐peer networking
– Post event write up of discussion and recording
– VIP Access to Opening Ceremony

Vendor Briefing
PURPOSE
• To give automation, IT and enterprise software vendors the opportunity to conduct a 45‐minute presentations about their products and customer value proposition.
• To provide manufacturing executives with a deep dive into a particular technology vendor’s solutions, offerings and expertise in an editorially driven format
DESCRIPTION
• 45 minute vendor presentation with 15 minutes Q&A moderated by MA/ME editor. Specific questions will be fielded by editor to encourage additional audience questions
• Theatre seating with projector and screen for ppt presentation
• Sessions will run concurrently 3 at a time in small breakout rooms that seat between 40‐50 theatre style
• 2 sets of sessions a day totally 6 vendor briefings each day
ATTENDEE STRATEGY & ESTIMATES
• Attendees will be given the opportunity to select one of three concurrent vendor briefing sessions
• Upon entering room, we will scan attendee badges to ensure that vendors know who attended the session

Guided Tours
PURPOSE
• To give automation, IT and enterprise software vendors the opportunity to meet with senior level manufacturing management following a relevant information and education forum in a more “intimate” setting.
• To provide manufacturing executives with an efficient way to meet with vendors of interest in a VIP manner following a day of topically relevant educational sessions.
DESCRIPTION
• Guided tours will take place at the end of each day based on that day’s theme
• Tours will be in groups of 10‐15 and will be hosted by an HMI and/or ME/MA editor
• Vendors on the tour will be sponsors of the conference and speakers and presenters on that day’s program
• Booth stops will be 15 minutes each
• Vendors will ensure that their top management is present for these tours
ATTENDEE STRATEGY & ESTIMATES
• The option to sign up for tours will be offered to attendees upon registration and throughout the course of the day.
• Vendors will be given lists of those who pre‐registered to attend the guided tours
• After tours, we will bring attendees to a cocktail reception which will be sponsored by those participating sponsors
