are teaming up to celebrate the district's 50th year by Hiking the

Medicare Counseling Medicare Counseling is returning in September to in-person at

Club Prior! Beginning 2nd Wednesday/Monthly from 12:00-

3:00 with appointments on the hour. Open enrollment for Med-

icare is 10/15-12/7. Masks are mandatory for this program.

Gently Used Furniture Club Prior is looking for a set of new (used) furniture to replace

the couch and two chairs that we currently have in our sitting

area. If you have a set, or know of someone getting rid of a

gently used set, please let me know! Thank you!

these extreme temperatures! Call Lesley to reserve yours today!

An anonymous donation of fresh garden vegetables and food

for our Food Pantry is donated every Tuesday morning. Stop

by at 11:00 to get your bag of fresh veggies.

A group of participants have been tending our Club Prior Com-

munity Garden at Kop Gardens in Lakefront Park. They weed,

water and now harvest all the goodies they have been growing

and bring them back to Club. Veggies are then bagged in indi-

vidual servings and laid out for donation on Tuesday mornings.

Acoustic Strum All abilities welcome! If you play the guitar, banjo, mandolin,

bass, ukulele, fiddle, harmonica (any non-amplified, non-

horned instruments), then this pop in group is for you! Bring a

song/sheet music to share. Come and play, sing and jam in a

friendly and no pressure setting. We will meet the 2nd and 4th

Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 at Club Prior. August 11 & 25,

September 8 & 22, October 22

Club Dance All abilities welcome! Here at Club Prior we have a gorgeous

dance floor just waiting to be opened back up again for you.

Wellness Wednesday’s NorBella will be hosting our Wellness Wednesday’s once a

month starting in September. We will kick it off with a Diabet-

ic Self Care clinic taught by their intake nurse. Then in Octo-

ber their Unidine staff will teach all about Heart Healthy Din-

ing with a Chef’s demo and fun takeaway. A great way to get

healthy this fall and have fun while doing it! More information

to come and watch for a flyer to be posted.

Club Prior Clinicals Beginning in September we will start what we call Club Prior

Clinicals where we invite professionals in to help with hearing

aid cleanings, glasses repair, OT/PT, chiropractic care, optom-

etry, Pharmacist, nursing, etc. They will be here for an hour to

answer questions, maybe give a talk, hand out literature, have

some fun assessments and great information for you. Watch

closely for more information to come.
