1CloudSuite Introduction

Infor CloudSuite™ Fashion is a solution of multiple products, including a core ERP combined withhigh-value extension applications, all delivered in the cloud. This cloud-deployed suite specificallyaddresses the unique needs you face in the fashion industries. Infor CloudSuite Fashion is deliveredas a single tenant solution, which is available through a subscription-based Software as a service(SaaS) delivery model built on infrastructure from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

2CloudSuite for Fashion – Base

The base package includes modules and functions that will be used by most companies within theFashion industry segment. The base package in itself is built up of a number of different products andis offered by Infor as an integrated solution.

The M3 ERP makes up the core of the suite and provides support for the major processes like Finance,Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing and Warehouse and Transportation. In addition to supporting thesecore processes, also included is a number of value added capabilities such as Business Intelligencewith Infor BI and M3 Analytics and Enterprise Search.

The base solution comes pre-configured with the Infor Implementation Accelerator for Fashion withindustry specific setups, processes and rich documentation to accelerate the implementation of yoursolution.

Multiple Unit Coordination (MUC) allows you to use and configure your M3 Applicationswithin a multi-site organization. The solution also enables business enterprises collaborating in thesupply chain to operate simultaneously within the same M3 environment.

By administering organizations in different locations and countries as a single unit, Infor M3 MultipleUnit Coordination simplifies planning, logistics and accounting for inter-company transactions originatingin the group. The solution serves as a valuable supporting tool when setting up shared service centers.These centers allow back office group functions to be consolidated, which will then provide improvedcontrol and visibility of financial processes on all levels throughout the enterprise. Shared servicecenters also contribute to significant cost savings by eliminating redundancies, streamlining activities,generating timely and consistent operating and financial information, and focusing the finance groupon value-adding activities.

M3 Product Data ManagementInfor M3 Product Data Management (PDM) enables you to maintain, store and use all types ofproduct-related data across the administrative processes in your organization. It provides support forthe creation, storage and reuse of information about products such as styles, SKUs, kits and discreteitems, to support the creation of multiple type of products such as apparel, footwear, jewelry, accessories,home textiles and luxury products. Carrying over products from one season to another season is takencare of in this module.

Product data management also provides the ability to set up your materials, trims, product structures,configuration rules, safety regulations, production costs and document information.

M3 Product Configurator & Attribute ControlInfor M3 Product Configurator (PCR) enables you to take sales orders for customized products andproduce those unique products for your customer. When products are defined, configuration rules areestablished and during entry of sales orders and quotations, the user works in an interactive rule-basedquestion and answer environment. The tight integration between the product definition and the salesprocess enables you to offer the right product to the right customer, assure customer-specific salesprices, and supply a lead-time for each specific order.

You can also distribute unique variants of complex products throughout the supply chain. All this withouthaving to create a unique item for each configured order line. For fashion in general, the productconfigurator module will be applied in a light format and is mandatory for the set up of styles and SKUs.For the Embellishment industry the product configurator will be used intensively and can be combinedwith Infor’s Product Configuration Management application.

Infor M3 Attribute Control enables you to use attributes to assign characteristics to an individual lot orstocked entity of an item. A collection of attributes can be collected and stored when a lot or balanceID is created in stock. These attributes can be used to define natural and variable characteristics of anitem across different lots such as shade, cut (jewelry), quality, labels, and customs information.

Attributes are actively used across the supply chain in processes such as material planning, costingand stock valuation, purchase and sales order pricing, available-to-promise and allocation.

M3 Manufacturing Execution & Maintenance ManagementInfor M3 Manufacturing Execution application provides the tools to execute against production plans.It supports material inspection, capacity requirements planning, manufacturing order scheduling andprocessing, time and attendance recording and the monitoring and analysis of production statistics.Infor M3 Manufacturing Execution application provides shop floor personnel with the crucial informationthat they need to do their jobs. As the industry is also asset intensive, benefits can be gained fromusing the M3 Maintenance management module.

M3 Item Data InterfacesManaging item data is typically a cumbersome, labor intensive and thus costly process for a company.The Infor M3 Item Data Interface module will allow you to efficiently share item related information withfor instance a Product Lifecycle Management application or Catalogue.

The Item Data Interface provides a single point interface that can be used in a number of differentcollaborative scenarios to validate, enrich and import item related information coming from outside.The item related information could include basic style, color and size, master data, discrete item masterdata, logistical planning data, EAN codes, alternative unit of measures etc. The solution also enablesyou to export M3 item information to your trading partners or other applications.

M3 Warehouse Management InterfaceInfor M3 Warehouse Management Interfaces (WHI) is designed to give both smaller warehouses andlarger distribution centers a capability to create a seamless interface and communication with specializedwarehouse management system equipment and devices.

Warehouse Management Interfaces is a flexible solution that fulfills the complex requirements of supplychain interoperability. It enables you to reduce supply chain inventories and improve delivery accuracyby allowing essential information such as stock levels and available-to-promise figures to be sharedamong systems and partners.

M3 Sales ManagementInfor M3 Sales Management serves as the hub for customer and pricing information. It helps to maximizesales with satisfied customers and sales organization through highly sophisticated sales ordermanagement support. It brings a common view to your commercial and logistical activities by connectingyour planning, pricing, promotions, bonus and commission, statistics and follow up to your fulfillmentprocesses.

Customer Order Processing is highly scalable and can be used for many types of orders such aspreseason of forward orders, replenishment orders, returns, credits. Different tools can be used tosupport the users to create orders such as standing order templates for repeats, buying patterns,assortment control and advanced global capable-to-promise ensuring rapid and faultless order entry.



Also the capability to receive orders from outside web – EDI – other format can be managed. Orderscan be directly allocated in case of replenishment, pre-allocated or allocated using rules like fair shareor priority based. To prevent shipping of incomplete styles or collections a delivery check can beperformed to hold incomplete shipments.

The Proof-of-Delivery process allows you to capture a confirmation that the customer has received thegoods before releasing for invoicing. The advanced pricing module supports multiple parallel discountswith or without bracketing levels on item, group, order or invoice totals. Promotions can be defined andfollowed up. Bonuses and Commissions allow for post-invoice rebates to customers, salesmen andagents.

M3 Point of Sales (POS)Infor M3 Point of Sales Interface (POS) supports enterprises with one or more POS systems in a retailchain, allowing them to gain advantages via shared services, integrated supply chain management,and local efficiency in sales and shop operations. The POS-interface contains a highly efficient solutionfor uploading and downloading business transactions generated in a 3rd party POS-system.

M3 Supply Chain PlanningInfor M3 Supply Chain Planning application is for product-centric businesses that are resourceconstrained. It has specific appeal for manufacturers and sourcing companies that need to maximizedelivery performance and profitability by optimizing the utilization of their existing resources. It includesmodules that cover the strategic planning down to the execution level and handles the extended valuechain down to individual resources. Infor M3 Supply Chain Planning provides decision support, ordervisibility and optimizes delivery performance, resource utilization and profits.

With the moduleyou will be able to establish and support your own archiving policies, processes and verification rules.

Transaction Archive Management helps you to centrally manage all M3 archiving functions whichminimizes the risk of incorrect archiving.

M3 Ad Hoc Reporting ToolM3 Ad Hoc Reporting is a tool that enables the creation of operational reports and listings direct fromthe M3 application database. Ad Hoc Reporting Tool further reduces the need to modify or invest indeveloping replacements for standard M3 operational reports in order to personalize the output fromM3. In addition it also avoids the inappropriate use of advanced business intelligence or analytic toolsto satisfy relatively simple operational needs, and manages access and security using standard M3user security and privilege levels.

With the Ad Hoc Reporting Tool, M3 users can manage the design, development, storage, executionand scheduling of user defined reports. All output is delivered in standard XML format to allow choiceand flexibility in its end use.

M3 System FoundationThe M3 System Foundation product provides Infor M3 customers with necessary functions to run andoperate M3 applications, and at the same time, benefit from industry standard, open run-timeenvironments with support for administration, monitoring, managing deployment, security andperformance.



Business Process ManagementInfor M3 Business Process Management Suite provides companies the means with which to connect,configure and customize their Infor solution. This suite encompasses a number of tools and technicalsolutions to aid customers in the customization of role based portals and user interaction, developmentof application to application collaboration and configuration of business to business communication.

M3 Application Component ConnectorInfor M3 Application Component Connector licenses allows inbound and outbound API integration ofnon-Infor applications into Infor M3.

Licenses are grouped per applications within M3 Financials (FIN), M3 Manufacturing Operations (MAO),M3 Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), M3 Supply Chain Management (SCM) and M3 CustomerSales and Services (CSS).

M3 Enterprise CollaboratorInfor M3 Enterprise Collaborator provides message based collaboration between functions in the InforM3 Enterprise Management System and other external applications in order to enable business processcollaboration within and across enterprises.

M3 Enterprise Collaborator Tools is the design studio where mapping of business messages from andto the M3 system are defined and maintained. The mapping of the business is a description of how anarbitrary input XML schema is transformed into an output target XML schema, but with the graphicalmapping tool developers can connects inbound with outbound messages and make integration simple.



M3 EDI Business MessagesInfor M3 EDI Business Messages are collections of predefined messages available within Infor M3solution supporting the most popular EDI standards used within Infor M3 industries. They are used toassist our customers to efficiently deploy an EDI collaborative environment with customers and vendors.

The module includes a number of predefined messages following the EDIFACT and ANSIX12 standards.

M3 Metadata PublisherThe Infor M3 Metadata Publisher is a tool used to explore Infor M3 database with its files, fields, aswell as relations between files, programs and program files. Infor Ming.le™Infor Ming.le is the Web-based user interface used by a number of Infor applications across theCloudSuite. It provides a centralized platform for social collaboration, business process improvement,and contextual analytics.

Infor ION Enterprise SearchION Enterprise Search is an intuitive, simple-to-use search application for Infor and non-Infor data tohelp organizations search and find relevant information securely and quickly. Base functions includeEnterprise Search solution for M3 users, the access of Infor M3 data through a Google-like search, theability to filter and drill down directly in M3 Business Engine list views, record and field level searchand the ability for end users to search non Infor data residing on their own PC, network file system,e-mail account and other sources.

Infor Mashup DesignerInfor Mashup Designer is a tool designed to combine pieces of Infor applications and other informationinto one mashup screen. This is a point-and-click tool for creating composite applications that combineforms, lists, visualizations, and data from different sources without programming. The mashups arebased on the XAML standard and are deployed in either Infor Smart Office or to a web browser.
