ActivElement was founded. Focus on web development & design consulting. In initial years, we built several web sites and e-commerce stores for companies like TemplateZone, Extentia, MTV Networks and Geometric Software.
ActivElement built a brand new text based ad network for an American company from Palm beach, Florida. At its height, it served over 12 million ads a day.
We were contracted by a start-up to build a browser and instant messaging client that worked inside PC games. We acquired in-depth knowledge of low-level Windows API calls, DirectX, Mozilla hacking, jabber protocols and client-server architecture.
ActivElement began work with a start-up based in California called MetroGuild. Their product MetroLeads was completely developed by ActivElement and was eventually deployed completely on Amazon Web Services.
We began working with EPRS, a provider of prepaid recharge services primarily for satellite TV and cellular carriers in India. EPRS is an Indo-Israeli joint venture. ActivElement were engaged to rebuild and modernize their transaction platform. They make heavy use of SimpleDB, RDS, EC2, SNS, SQS, NoSQL, EMR and VPC.
ActivElement in conjunction with OML jointly created and launched NH7.in, a music and alternative culture web site focussed on independent Indian music. We built the system from the ground up using AWS, heavily utilizing SimpleDB, EC2 and RDS along with several Open Source development stacks.
ActivElement chooses to focus heavily on Cloud consulting, solutions & managed services. CloudCover.In was born.

Uptime Monitoring & Automation
This is CloudCover ’s lowest level of cloud monitoring. Utilizing a proprietary management platform we passively monitor servers on your cloud and local data centers to ensure uptime and accelerate fault detection. Thresholds and triggers are customized and tweaked for your specific use cases, scaling points both upwards and downwards are also indicated.
If applicable, appropriate fault management and scaling scripts will also be automated providing a self-healing, self-maintaining system. Issues can be raised directly with CloudCover.
