Removing all water by evaporation

Today the use of EAL oil (Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant) requires

tight control of moisture content in thrusters, sterntubes or other systems

using biodegredable hydraulic oil (HEES).

It can be challenging to keep oil free of moisture. With purifiner’s oiltechnology we make it simple. All moisture is removed by evaporation, even from emulsified oil.

EAL oils break down in the

presence of water, hence

moisture content must be kept

to a minimum to prevent

damage to plant and machinery.

Oil suppliers recommend that

EAL oil should not have water

content exceeding 0.1%

(1000ppm)

The following analysis of particles, water content and

NAS class is provided by Norsk Oljelaboratorium AS.

After four hours of cleaning, the oil has a

superior NAS grade compared to new oil,

and the reduction in water is 99.3%

Furthermore, the reduction in particles

above 5 micron compared to before

processing is 80.2%.

After added water After four hours of cleaning

Why choose purifiner?• Clean cotton filter + evaporation of water

• Continuous oil maintenance provides the highest standard of oil

• Most reliable technology on the market

• The lowest operating cost for a filter system on the market

• Provides significant cost savings on oil and future breakdowns

• Small outlay with good return on investment

• Extends oil life by a factor of 10 to 15 times

• Highest oil standard = less mechanical failures and downtime

Many mechanical failures find their root cause in contaminated oil. Maintaining

oil quality by removing water and particulates results in fewer mechanical failures

and reduced downtime. It reduces operating costs, consumption and enhances

equipment life. Combined, the significant benefits of maintaining oil quality will

make your business greener.

We have delivered more than 3000 units to shipping customers worldwide

– with the best results.
