change and health with the sustainable development
agenda in support of the Paris Agreement and in
achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals,
including making a compelling case for action among
stakeholders in developing Asian cities and countries. Mitigating air pollution by building capacity at city
and national levels that results in tangible reductions
of air pollution and climate change impacts. Being an innovative, effective and sustainable
mission-driven organization that responds to the air
quality issues that matter the most, and adapts to
new challenges as they arise. Informing stakeholders and the
public about air pollution and its
impacts.
OUR GOALS
OUR SUCCESSWe will measure the success of our strategy in having a positive impact for
people and the environment across Asia by:
Achieving major changes in national standards, policies and
practices that result in the long-term mitigation of air pollution
and that contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable
Development Goals and The Paris Agreement.
Supporting cities in building their capacity to mitigate air
pollution based on science, data and best practices, and
promoting regional cooperation to accelerate learning and
implementation.
Informing and educating about the impacts of air
pollution to create an enabling environment for
change at national and local levels.
Reinforcing Clean Air Asia’s organizational strengths
and upholding our strong organizational governance to
ensure we remain a reputable, trusted regional change-
maker, and ensuring stable, sustainable finances into the
future for the organization.
