Building a successful businessis dependent on multiplefactors, but none more criticalthan access to a workforcewith a skill set that meets thebusiness need now and in thefuture. Conversely, success for an individual is dependent on their ability to accesseducation and training that provides a skill set desired and required by the industry. Overthe past year, logistics employers in the south metro Atlanta area have met with industryexperts in international trade and workforce development to develop a workforce plan foran international trade training pathway. TOEFL Prep IThis course is designed for students with no priorexperience on the TOEFL iBT who want to attend collegein the United States and/or who have a less advancedlevel of English. The course focuses on all four-languageskills tested on the TOEFL iBT: reading, listening,speaking, and writing. It aims to familiarize the studentswith the exam, introduce basic strategies for tacklingquestions, and improve test-taking skills. The course alsobuilds the language skills necessary for success on theTOEFL iBT and ultimately in academic settings. The Music Preparatory School at Clayton State University

Private music lessons and classes with our faculty ofprofessional musicians are available to the community for amodest fee in the Music Preparatory School. Piano, violin,voice, saxophone, and other instruments are available byrequest. REFUND POLICY: Clayton State University Center forContinuing Education is self-supporting, so studentregistration fees must cover the costs associated withdeveloping and delivering high quality courses.

IF WE CANCEL A COURSE: Each course is closelymonitored to ensure sufficient enrollment. Fivebusiness days prior to the start date, if we do not havesufficient enrollment to cover our costs, we may haveto cancel or postpone the course. We will notifystudents by phone and email. Students may choose toreceive a full refund or transfer to a different course.Before a transfer is completed, any differences inregistration fees will be refunded, if amount of newcourse is less than original fee, or must be paid, if feefor new course is greater than original fee.

Georgia has become the third-busiest statein the nation (behind California and NewYork) in terms of film and televisionproduction with $5.1 billion in economicactivity in 2014.

Digital Film Technician IThe Digital Film Technician Training Program isGeorgia’s only comprehensive non-credit below-the-linefilm crew training. In two courses over six months,students train on industry-standard equipment; learn film-set procedures, nomenclature, organizational structure,set etiquette, and networking. Training is provided inlighting, grip, sound, camera assist, art department,locations, and script supervision. Classes are held in ournewly renovated 10,000 square foot studio space – oneof the largest teaching studios in the country.
