History of Hagia Sophia
Although there are no artifacts confirming Hagia Sophia, it was said that it was built on the site of an ancient pagan temple. Haiga Sophia went though two phases of construction before its present state. Unfortunately nothing remains of the original Hagia Sophia built in the 6th century.
