Subject: Authorize the Purchase of a 2018 Dodge Ram 4x4 in the Amount of $78,991 from Mike Motors Agenda of: June 11, 2018 Council action: _______________________________________________________________ Summary statement: Action Memorandum 18-041 authorizes the purchase of a 2018 Dodge Ram from Mike Motors. The vehicle will be equipped through Truck Utilities out of St. Paul. Both Mike Motors and Truck Utilities hold the 2018 State Contract. Additional quotes were obtained. With this quote being the lowest. The 2018 Dodge Ram will be an additional vehicle to the Public Works Department. The vehicle will be equipped with:
• Truck chassis with the capability of handling the crane and toolbox to store the tools needed at lift stations;
• Crane with the ability to lift 4,000 lbs and extend 35’ into the lift stations; • Plow to remove snow at lift stations and on City streets.
Please note that the purchase is not budgeted. Authorization of this action memorandum approves an equal appropriation from the water and sewer reserve funds. If required by the auditor, a budget modification resolution will come before the council at a later date. Fiscal information: Total amount of funds listed in this legislation: $ 78,991

I appolgize for the delay. Thought I had sent this before but found it in draft.
Below are two specs for 4500 Ram Crew Cab W/ 84" CA. One gas engine and the other is a diesel.
I added the options most buy for this type of application. Everyone need are different so we can add or delete most of the options. Will give you a good place to start.
