• New 4.X product codes replace previous 4.0 product codes– UNITY-4.X is main option under UNITY-BUNDLE to start Cisco Unity 4.2 configurations

–UNITY4.X-SL-32 and UNITY4.X-SL-MAX are new server license SKUs

–UNITY-LIC-UPG-4.X is now primary SKU to start Cisco Unity License upgrade options

Cisco Unity Server Software Licenses

• Two Server LicensesUNITY4.X-SL-32 - UM or VM Server License, 32 ports - $5,000UNITY4.X-SL-MAX - UM or VM Server License 96 ports - $10,000

• Users can configure any number of ports up to the server supported maximum and the server license maximum

e.g. If a server only supports 48 ports, the 96 port server license is required but can only be configured up to 48

• 3rd party fax support and networking are included in the server licenses

Port Upgrades to Cisco Unity 4.2

• Regardless of how many ports A Cisco Unity 4.2 customer configures, ALL 4.2 systems will have the software security license file set to one of three port sizes:

16 ports – All 4.2 bundles have a 16 port license file

32 ports – The smaller server license file

96 ports – The larger server license file

This means…

• Older versions upgrading to Cisco Unity 4.2 will have the option of upgrading into a 16 port, 32 port or 96 port server license
