It’s Very easy and simple. First you must take the vans

that go along Grau avenue to Chosica.

You can also take buses from Lima Chosica on Paseo

Colon. Or if you are near Miraflores, you can take

station wagons up to the bypass Arequipa Avenue

corner Javier Prado. The passage Lima Chosica, urban

transport, is priced at 3.50 or 4 soles, depending where

you take it.

Once you get to Chosica, get off at the park

Preparation

Preparation

On the night before the meat with all the spices,

chili, garlic, oil, vinegar, yellow pepper, salt, cumin

and pepper to taste pickled.

Besides, in a large pot placed first bucking pig meat,

potatoes and sweet potatoes well washed, chickenalso bucking up; after the corn is cut whole place

and finally the beans.

If desired, add up all this a big piece of cheese and

to finish off, add or liquefied huacatay chincho, and

Then cover with corn husks washed well and cover

Cuy fritoPreparation

Season the guinea pigs with salt on both sides and wipe the grits

until they are fully covered. Book a half tablespoon oil and heat

the rest in a large skillet over high heat. Place a guinea pig and

top with a steel plate or a large clean stone, to prevent bending

the guinea pig. Cook for five minutes. Remove the steel plate or

stone, turn the guinea pig and let it fry for five minutes. Cuy

Remove and drain on absorbent paper. Repeat with the

remaining guinea pigs. Separately, cook the peppers in a pan of

boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain and blend with marigold and

a tablespoon of oil. Season with salt and chili huacatay book. Mix

in a bowl with tomato onion, mint, remaining oil and lemon

 juice. Season with salt sarza. Serve with fried guinea huacatay

peppers, Creole sarza and potatoes.

Colonial ChurchHistorical monument dating from 1836 when it was finished

construct. Images of the Virgen del Carmen, SantaRosa de Lima and other saints more, make the holy company

Palacala Waterfall and Archaeological

Remains (280 msnm)

Continuing along a pedestrian trail about 5

kilometers from the village come to these impressivewaterfalls. The walk can sue

2 to 3.30 hour, it all depends on your physical condition and desire,

it has to overcome a height of nearly 800 meters.

It has many areas such as camping, then the ground

is on a slope. About an hour walk in ascent

the archaeological remains of Chingana.

ATTRACTIONSHuanano´s Archaeological remains and WaterfallIt is the closest and less demanding from the village destination. By following

the path to the creek Matala, raisins first by colorful fields of prickly pear andfig trees, and then 20 minutes of walking, are strange constructions of stonesshaped caverns and passageways underground, are now in thearchaeological complex Huanano Machay which has some 60 buildings. Yesfollow this path, and now in an upward zigzag get to the viewpoint where it hasbuilt a small cave. We must follow the path along a canal that leads directly tothe waterfall Huanano having a free fall of about 30 meters. Some more exists

above an excellent camping area known as Lomo Largo. From San Jeronimode Surco to the waterfall There are only 45 minutes easy walk.
