Circuit of culture
Cultural studies uses contemporary cultural artefacts to study the society and its culture.
“Primarily culture is connected with the production and the exchange of meanings… between the members of society or group”- Hall.
Any cultural artefacts has to be undergone the examination of five basic elements. And this this five elements together constitute ‘circuit of culture’ the term ‘circuit of culture’ was given by Paul du Gay et al in 1997.

It becomes trend to have smartphones for youth, and it also becomes an object of showing richness…
Large numbers of the employees in mobile companies are youngsters, and related with I.T.
Generally the age group of the employees are between 20-50 years.
People look at the workers of ‘apple’ like company with respect.

It depends upon class, either smartphone or simple mobile, people buy mobiles according to their need.

Now a days in society there is craze for upgrading mobile phones..

As government of India banned selling of Xiaomimobiles in December 2014 as it has duplicate and fake unique id..
There are committee to handle all these matters and it has its own policies. With this it has import and export policies..

The circuit of culture is perhaps the most thorough examination of any cultural artefact.
As we can see it covers a range of issues and themes- from the question of media representation to the construction of identities in culture.
Now days mobile has passed through this examination and it becomes a part of culture.
