Title: Types of PrecipitationGrade: 1st
INTRODUCTION
Have you ever seen something falling from the clouds and wondered what it was? It’s called precipitation! There are many different types of precipitation and there are precautions you need to take before going outside in them. After completing this WebQuest, students will know all about the different types of precipitation.
TASK
Students will be placed into groups of four. Each group will be assigned one of the four types of precipitation we will be
covering. Each group will then do some research about their type of precipitation. Groups are to research the temperatures their type of precipitation happens,
the season it happens most in, and precautions you need to take when their type of precipitation forms outside.
Students will be told to gather as much information on their type of precipitation as possible.
Students will then present their type of precipitation to the class.
