JUNE 24, 2018

Please support those who make this bulletin possible! Whenever possible we ask parishioners to

patronize the advertisers who appear on the back page of our bulletin. Please tell the place of business where you saw their advertisement. We are grateful to those who uti-lize the parish bulletin by placing an ad with us.

Reminder!! Upon entering church for Mass or any other service, please turn off or place on vibrate your cell phone. Thank you.

Please be aware that there are now stricter legal and ethical guidelines regarding the dissemination of patient information from hospitals to churches and clergy. In addi-tion, today’s shorter hospital stays make timely pastoral visit difficult at best. Therefore, if you have occasion to be hospitalized and desire pastoral support, you or a family member should do two things. Notify the rectory of the hospitalization as soon as possible. Also, upon admission to the hospital you will be asked if you desire to have your religious affiliation noted as part of your medical record. Please state both your denomination and parish. If you fail to do either of the above, your parish priest may have no way of knowing your needs.

Holy Land Christian Art

The Olivewood carving Event August 18th and 19th, 2018

The Olivewood carving has evolved as a cultural tradition of the Christians over many centuries. Most Holy Land Christians in the Bethlehem area alone rely upon income generated from this art form. Local Catholic artisans carve the items. Thanks you for your vital support for Christian Tradition and in protecting this very important culture and industry.

Father Gene wishes to thank parishioners who sent him “get well” cards and are offering prayers for the success of his upcoming surgery. The goodness of all is deeply appre-ciated.
