CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS Never use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or any other cleanser or ointment not listed in the Aftercare Products section. Ensuring hands are clean, once per day gently apply a small amount of the soap to the outside of the piercing (not inside the mouth). Clean any parts of the jewelry that are visible, without pushing or moving the jewelry. Additionally, we recommend a prepacked sterile saline solution such as NeilMed. If purchasing from a pharmacy, ensure the product is labelled “Saline Wound Wash” and contains only sodium chloride (sea salt) and water.

Never use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or any other cleanser or ointment not listed in the Aftercare Products section.

Ensuring hands are clean, once per day gently apply a small amount of the soap to the outside of the piercing (not inside the mouth). Clean any parts of the jewelry that are visible, without pushing or moving the jewelry.

Unfortunately, even piercings that have been healed for years can immediately begin to close once the jewelry is removed. If you are still within the initial healing period, in almost all cases removing the jewelry will result in the loss of the piercing. We recommend having a trained piercer assist you as soon as possible; there is a possibility that with proper tools and training, the piercing can still be salvaged.
