Welcome to new people at
Search-say hello to Chris Tait
Chris Tait is our new Volunteer Coordinator responsible for recruiting volunteers. Chris has worked in the voluntary sector for over twenty years. Search is reaching more people than ever and this means we need more volunteers!
Volunteering at Search
We currently have over 30 volunteers
who provide our activities, admin and
events. Volunteering is rewarding, a
way of learning new skills or gaining
experience to help with job seeking.
Feel good from using one’s life skills
to help people and socialise. We
always have opportunities for
volunteers from assisting with
refreshments at activities to leading
group sessions. We need help with
admin and volunteers to staff
reception.
We offer a full training programme
with support to help you help us. So
please contact me, Chris Tait
(Volunteer Coordinator)
This month we welcomed SAGE as part of their corporate volunteering strategy, to our Sporting Chance activity at Scotswood Sports Centre. Six SAGE volunteers swelled the
numbers and played walking football then joined Search participants with Badminton and Table Tennis.
