CHRISTMAS MARKETS History This is a centuries old tradition that reaches back to a time when regular seasonal markets took place Christmas markets were one that was welcomed during the cold winter months These markets were more than what we see today many vendors would layout all their goods on the street hoping to sell it all Only local tradesmen were allowed to sell their wares, which has led to the distinctive character you see today in many markets Where are they held?
