CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

As we near the end of another year it is always good to reflect on thehighs and lows that affect us as Ayrshire members.

For those of us who are farmers water has been the key word inrecent months, either too much or not enough in a large part of thecountry.

Recently I was pleased to be out and about as part of the Classifyingteam covering Wards 3-4-5 and 6. Ayrshire breeders have alwaysbeen known for their hospitality and friendliness and thankfully thisstill continues to be the case. I enjoy getting on farm to view the cowsin their own environment and conditions and discussing any issuesthose members may have with our Association in particular ouryounger breeders.

As Christmas approaches I hope that you will find time to spend timewith family and friends and remember those who are no longer withus. I am asking Santa for 100mm of rain this year, can I suggest thatsome of my fellow breeders do the same.

Best wishes to you and your families

AYRSHIRE ASSOCIATION MERCHANDISEA group of passionate younger members want to see if they can make a change within the Ayrshire Association.

This survey targets how a few of us have discussed adding some colour within the ring.

While not forcing you to change your showing ways, we would very much prefer you answer these few questions which will help us out immensely. This does not only target people who show but also all members within the breed. These item(s) could possibly be worn outside of the ring.

To complete the survey check out the Ayrshire website page.
