This includes creating RFID tags for merchandise to aid in the daily inventory count of display merchandise. In addition to this, I am also responsible for normal daily sales tasks like opening and closing the registers, processing transactions, assisting customers with purchases, opening credit accounts, and placing orders for merchandise not available in the store. I was in charge of all of all company communications, including lateral communication between managers, employees, and consumers, weekly newsletters, and building and maintaining relations with manufacturers. I was also in charge of creating marketing material for consumer education and to increase sales. Another one of my duties was all employee relations. This would include employee retention and training, payroll, and ensuring customers and employees remained satisfied. Also, I oversaw our e-commerce division which shipped out daily orders to consumers that had been placed either via website or phone order. I also oversaw all accounts to ensure that they were paid on time and negotiated terms with vendors. We started the company in 2010 with one store and an online marketplace. By the end of 2012, we had four stores and online, all of which reported profits within the first six months. To date, we have six stores and have never reported a loss.
