The company custom-builds voices by mining an individual’s own archived voice recordings and piecing together, syllable by syllable, Ebert’s voice. When it finishes its work, Ebert will sound like Ebert. At least more so than Alex or Lawrence do. Sometimes we don’t miss a voice until it goes silent. At the end of the Old Testament there is a period of 400 years often referred to as “the silent years.” Years without any prophets or leaders whose words or lives were recorded in Scripture. Sometimes in life you meet someone that changes your world as you know it…They are like a gift sent from above to

help you become a better version of you…They may help you through a loss or direct you on your journey, then in an

instant they can be gone…because while they were helping you, you were also helping them on their next steps in life…

Love them while you can and wish them well and always remember them in your heart. Karen Kastyle

Worship in the New Building! Sunday, March 12th, 2017 from 6:00-8:30 pm.

FCC is hosting a worship concert in the new building featuring Called and United! The Worship Committee feels this would be an appropriate way to thank the Lord for this new space and see it commissioned in a worthy manner! The two things we as a church do well are worship and eat! So, we feel it would be a shame if we had our first gathering without food! We are asking those of you who love to bake to bring a dessert, cookies or snack with you when you attend! I can't say that the new building won't be a bit loud as we do not have sound absorbing panels yet, so perhaps a pair of earplugs might dull the sound enough that you can worship at the level you need. The band will be a 15-part orchestra of sound and will be a beautiful worship experience that includes part of our praise band, some of our youth band, plus a few surprise parts for extra audio pleasure! Please come and worship with us!

Our Condolences to the family of Golda Hunt on the loss of their loved one Golda M. Hunt, age 85, of Garnett passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Guest Homes Estates in Garnett. Goldie is survived by her husband, Vernon, her son Jay Selanders and wife Annie and her daughter Dr. Jean Dydell, and Vernon's daughter Vickie Montgomery and husband Doug. Funeral services were held Friday, March 3, 2017, at the First Christian Church.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

FCC Cleaning Day! Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at 1:00 pm

The First Christian Church of Garnett will be having our first cleaning day of the season and the first for the new building! Our hope is that a few of you will call in and let us know that you would like to attend, or go ahead and just come join us Saturday! We are completing the final cleaning of our new building! There is enough dust to bury an ox, and we could use some help getting it ready for the concert Sunday night! Thank you all who signed the flap Sunday!
