The Power after the Passion Luke 24:1-35
When we truly understand the glory of the
resurrection we cannot help but want to shout.
1. The resurrection assures comfort for the sorrowing.
2. The resurrection assures hope for the hopeless.
3. The resurrection assures grace for the guilty.
M MINISTRIES
Supported by WSBC since 2007, M has three key focus areas.
• Distribution of Bibles and Christian literature at two bookshops.
• Meeting the spiritual and physical needs of refugees.
• Developing and strengthening the faith of hundreds of Christian youth at camp.
Thank you for your friendship, prayers, support, and gifts that empower us to reach and impact the lives of hundreds of young adults and children this year.
We would like to share with you our latest youth ministry update.
On January 17-18, we held the first training. In addition to the Ministry Committee, 110 counselors from nine major cities and 40 local churches participated. It was an amazing time of fellowship, worship and prayers, hearing a good message, and receiving training in informative, creative, and practical ways. We covered topics about integrity and faithfulness, steadiness, know yourself, be teachable, how to build good habits and break bad ones.
Despite the bad and harsh weather, we hosted 50 people for three days and two nights on January 24-26 for winter camp during school break between the two semesters. Many of the campers are potential leaders to whom we assigned responsibilities during the camp to equip them for the ministry field. The program was specially crafted to cope with the coastal city which included teaching (daily message, Bible studies, individual reflection time, and worship on the sea) and fun (boat rides, beach games and visits to attractions such as the aquarium) activities. The program theme was about “Our Relationship with God and its continuity.” Also, part of our program was to support and empower the local church there. They were encouraged by the group and asked us to plan for other activities with and for them during the year. It was an amazing camp and a successful new model for us to have. The experience was far more impactful and enjoyable than we had planned and expected.
Staying Connected Please plan to regularly visit our church website: wsbc.info/home and use our social media during these weeks in order to stay connected with one another, receive updates from our staff, and to continue your stewardship of giving. If you have spiritual or physical needs please communicate with us by calling the church office at: 708.246.1530, or by email at [email protected] or Pastor Dean at: [email protected]. I pray that you all are doing well in these strange and difficult times. “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever,” (Psalm 118).

Christ The Lord Is Risen Today Pew Hymnal #217
Christ the Lord is risen today
Alleluia! Sons of men and angels say
Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high
Alleluia! Sing, ye heav’ns and earth reply
Alleluia!
Love’s redeeming work is done Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise
Alleluia! Christ has opened Paradise
Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise
Alleluia! Ours the cross, the grave, the skies
Alleluia!

Exalted Over All
From Heaven's throne You came to us And set Your heart upon the cross
We'll never know the sacrifice You’ve made
For all our sin and all our shame You took the nails, You took our place
No one else could do what You have done
One name is higher One name is stronger
Than any grave, than any throne Christ exalted over all
From the grave where death would die
You rose again and brought us life You're reigning now, the Savior of the world You're reigning now, the Savior of the world
One name is higher
One name is stronger Than any grave than any throne
Christ exalted over all
The only Savior Jesus Messiah
To You alone our praise belongs Christ exalted over all
We sing Your praise, sing Your praise
We sing Your praise forever We lift Your name, we lift Your name
Jesus over all
We sing Your praise, sing Your praise We sing Your praise forever
We lift Your name, we lift Your name Jesus over all
One name is higher
One name is stronger Than any grave than any throne
Christ exalted over all
The only Savior Jesus Messiah
To You alone our praise belongs Christ exalted over all
To You alone our praise belongs
Christ exalted over all

Behold Him
He who was before there was light Walked a cross the pages of time He who made every living thing
Behold Him
He who heard humanity’s cry Left His throne to wake as a child
He became like the least of us Behold Him
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah The Lamb, the roaring Lion Oh be still and behold Him
He who dined with sinners and saints
Healed the blind the lost and the lame Even now He is in our midst
Behold Him
He who chose a criminal’s end Paid with blood to settle out debt
Buried death as He rose to life Behold Him
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah The Lamb, the roaring Lion Oh be still and behold Him
Jesus, Alpha and Omega Our God, the risen Savior
Oh be still and behold Him
Holy, holy, holy Is the Lord God Almighty Worthy, worthy, worthy
To receive all praise
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah The Lamb, the roaring Lion Oh be still and behold Him
Jesus, Alpha and Omega Our God, the risen Savior
Oh be still and behold Him

Turn Your Eyes
Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace
Turn your eyes to the hillside
Where justice and mercy embrace There the Son of God gave His life for us And our measureless debt was erased
Jesus to you we lift our eyes Jesus our glory and our prize
We adore You behold You Our Savior ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You
Turn your eyes to the morning And see Christ the lion awake
What a glorious dawn fear of death is gone For we carry His life in our veins
Jesus to you we lift our eyes Jesus our glory and our prize
We adore You behold You Our Savior ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You
Turn your eyes to the heavens Our King will return for His own
Every knee will bow every tongue will shout All glory to Jesus alone
Jesus to you we lift our eyes Jesus our glory and our prize
We adore You behold You Our Savior ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You
Jesus to you we lift our eyes Jesus our glory and our prize
We adore You behold You Our Savior ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You

Crown Him With Many Crowns Pew Hymnal #234
Crown Him with many crowns
The Lamb upon His throne Hark how the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own
Awake my soul and sing Of Him who died for thee
And hail Him as thy matchless King Through all eternity
Crown Him the Lord of life
Who triumphed o'er the grave Who rose victorious to the strife
For those He came to save
His glories now we sing Who died and rose on high
Who died eternal life to bring And lives that death may die
Crown Him the Lord of heav’n
One with the Father known One with the Spirit through Him giv’n
From yonder glorious throne
To Thee be endless praise For Thou for us hast died
Be Thou O Lord through endless days Adored and magnified
