Recruited and trained a highly capable Business Evaluation team while designing and implementing

project prioritization and approval processes. Taught basic financial valuation techniques to six sigma green belt candidates and provided on-going valuation support to black and green belts resulting in the ability to prioritize business improvement projects by the valued gained.

Senior Financial Analyst, – Kennecott Utah Copper 2005–2006Responsible for financial analysis of forecasts, long-range plans, annual operating plans and monthly management reports. Directed design, implementation and maintenance of variety of systems used for financial reporting. Designed and implemented a fully functional cost model used to account for all transactions and

inventory movements for Kennecott Utah Copper. This model was used as a basis for global implementation of SAP throughout Rio Tinto

Oversaw the financial planning and reporting of the largest process shutdown and rebuild for one of Kennecott Utah Copper’s largest processing facilities.
