Happy New Year

Thank you to all our Children’s Lighthouse family members for a great 2018. We are

looking forward to the many new and exciting experiences ahead in 2019.

~~*~~*~~*~~*~~ December was excellent! This was our 6th year to participate in the

Salvation Army Angel Tree program. It was a tremendous success as we

collected so many toys. Thank you very much to all our families for

participating and for your generosity. Jingles, our Elf on the Shelf, kept us all

on our toes. We miss you Jingles! See you next year.

The new year brought change to our team too – so many new faces. We are

looking forward to 2019 and the activities that we are diligently planning.

Some highlight activities to look forward to this year will be our innovative

C.A.R.E.S. curriculum, holiday parties and celebrations, theme days, great

Spring Break, Pre-K Graduation, End of School celebrations, Summer Camp and

field trips, Back to School 2019 – 2020 and our 7th Annual Fall Festival in

October!

NEW FACES

You may have noticed several new faces around the center…

we have many new families enroll this month. Welcome!

With the increasing enrollment, we have many new staff

members. Welcome to all of you as well.

We have also lost several of our staff members to the new

college semester beginning. Best of luck to Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Angela, Ms. Katie, Ms. Hannah and Ms. Lydia – we miss you

already. We hope to see you this summer.

Ms. Jannice is preparing letters for parents with students in

classrooms with new teachers. These letters will go out the

week of January 14.

PARENT REFERRAL PROGRAM

Help us spread the word about Children’s Lighthouse – Bulverde Road and earn FREE tuition! When you refer family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers to our Center, you will be credited a free week of tuition for your oldest child after the referred family has enrolled and attended our center for four (4) consecutive weeks! The referred family will also receive a credit toward tuition. The referred family will be credited the Enrollment Fee the first week tuition is charged. Thank you for your continued support of our Center. We appreciate our families!

Please use extra caution when pulling in to and out of our parking lot. We have several people voice concern that people are driving too quickly in the parking lot. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.

filled with misplaced jackets and

sweaters this time of year. Please put

your child’s name in their clothing!

Please do not send your child to school in open toed shoes as it is a significant safety hazard. Shoes should be closed toe.
