– Economic activity of children is defined as any paid or unpaid work for someone who is not a member of the household, or other family work
• Denominator: All children 5-14 years of age

Children who have done any paid or unpaid work for someone who is not a member of the household (CL3 = 1, 2) or who did 4 or more hours/day of housekeeping chores in the household (CL6 = 1 and (CL7/7) > 4 hrs) or who did other family work (CL8 = 1) are considered to be currently working.
