SEATTLE, WA – Feb. 19, 2016 -- During the month of March, Chihuly Garden and Glass will be hosting four different events that allow the public to experience the color, inventiveness, and scale of Dale Chihuly’s art in some innovative ways.

This month’s events will include: Yoga Under the Glass, March 5 & March 8 | 7:30 a.m.

Come start your day by connecting with your community and igniting your mind, body, ad spirit with a 60-minute morning yoga session being held inside the inspirational Glasshouse. The class will be led by local Core Power Yoga Studio instructors who have designed a special session that will be drawing inspiration from the creative environment and is comfortable for all skill levels.

Walk with the Gardener, March 10 | 9:30 a.m.Visitors will get a 60-minute tour with the gardening team that made Chihuly’s dream of making nature and glass art intermingle a reality in the Chihuly Garden. Visitors will learn about the gardener’s overall process and reasons for the landscaping design and philosophy of the glass garden as they walk you through their winter and spring plantings and will be giving some gardening tips along the way.

Community Hot Shop Tour, March 25 | 9 a.m. If you’ve ever seen Chihuly glass art before, you probably find yourself wondering how someone could make glass have so much movement, shape, and color. The Chihuly glassblowing team will help answer these questions as they give attendees a 2-hour tour of the Exhibition and give glassblowing demonstrations to help guests understand the process and techniques that are used to produce Chihuly’s glass art.
