- Training Objective: The purpose of this block is to expose the SNFO to two plane formation flight in the T-6A. Emphasis should be placed on preflight briefings, procedural recall and individual maneuver item execution.

▪ Flight Students shall be prepared to conduct the brief and debrief for last two flights in block.

▪ Parade form conduct and sequence should be flown on FRM4101 as a single event. FRM4102 and FRM4103 should be flown as out/in, conduct consisting of parade form, cruise maneuvering, tail-chase, geo/nav rendezvous. Tactical Form may be conducted if both IP’s are qualified in the Intermediate Formation Stage.

▪ A minimum of two section approaches shall be accomplished in block to include each student executing at least one approach from lead position and at least one approach from wing position.

- Brief mission Cconduct

- in accordance with what you have listed on your KBCs for each particular event.

KBCs are posted on VT-10’s website under Training Resources. VT-10’s Formation KBCs include almost everything you need on your KBCs; however, they are not all inclusive. They SHALL be modified appropriately by SNFOs, based off of what your IPs direct and what you/your form partner need for each event. It is your responsibility to update your KBCs based off of the training requirements listed in the MCG.

Intermediate ConductMission conduct is the main focus or objective of the flight.

Training Objective: The Strike Stage is designed to develop and prepare the SNFO for follow-on training in the T-45C. The stage is structured to familiarize and practice instrument and strike mission planning and procedures, mission fuel analysis and management, and mission ownership during section instrument flight and low-altitude strike training events. Students will assume the role of Mission Commanders in the complete execution of the event from preflight planning to post flight debrief IAW FTI, squadron directives, and instructor recommendations. 2 TAC FORM Events/3 Low Level Events/ 3 Instrument events 3 Instrument App as Lead/ 3 App as wingVFR Touch and goes x5Minimum of one PEL w/wing providing mutual support/high cover1 Nav or Geo Rendezvous as wing / 1 Nav or Geo Rendezvous as lead

**STK4101-2 should focus on tactical formation but must be performed prior to the section low level events in the Strike phase. As squadron operations dictate, a student may fly STK4101-04 to meet the section instrument requirements, the next two events in the Strike phase must be tactical formation events**Brief mission conduct in accordance with what you have listed on your KBCs for each particular event (Except for Section NAVs) KBCs are posted on VT-10’s website under Training Resources.
