LEAN, MEAN, HATCHBACK MACHINE✤ A brand new and 100 pound lighter

platform is the base of the 2017 Cruze Hatchback's design. This new frame is stronger and more rigid than previous Cruze models which contributes to the increased safety and efficiency. Not only is the body structure carrying less weight, the all aluminum engine just shed about 40 pounds as well! Overall, the 2017 Cruze hatchback is nearly 200 pounds lighter than last year's models. HATCHBACK STYLE✤ The 2017 Cruze Hatchback offers a taller

cargo area without sacrificing rear passenger head room. Cruze Hatch uses the same platform/wheelbase as the sedan but tweaks the exterior with more European styling. A standard rear spoiler adds to the modern look along with new wrap-around tail lamps. This sleek Hatchback has eliminated the base L and LS trims. Clients can choose between upscale LT trim or luxurious Premier appointments. You can also add an available sporty RS appearance package which adds aggressive ground effects and front/rear facia honeycomb treatments.

RS PACKAGE

✤ The hatchback version takes the styling to a new level of design while adding tons of functionality. Up front, the grille retains the same look at the sedan. The beaked nose with is large lower grille, smaller upper section, and aggressive lighting package. A shapely hood flows onto sharply creased front fenders that send a striking body line rearward. That line continues through the door handles and into the rear taillights, ending below the slanted rear glass. A deep scallop in the lower door section further defines the side profile, as does the prominent spoiler over the rear hatch.

✤ In all, it's a smart design that will give the competition something to fear.
