How to make it?

- We put the carrots in a mortar.- When we have it, we have to crush the

carrots.- For make it easier, we put sand.

How to make it?

- After all, we have to put the carrots into the alcohol and leave it all the night.

- When we have the colour, we filter the rest of the carrot for having only the pigment.

• This pigment contains the chemical compound Beta Carotene.

As we can see there is a lot of absorbance in the colour blue and less in the colours red, orange and yellow. This makes the colour orange.
