- Shawl collar extended to shoulders- Open CF closure with belt in casing- Two darts from bust to hip- One dart is tuck that releases at waist- Two 4” double welt pockets 1.5” before SS- Short front extends 9” at SS to back

Back- 5” yoke on upper back- 13” mid back section- Faux lacing on 1” extended panels- Two darts from mid back to low waist- Belt concealed in WB casing until SS- Triangular section pleated to fit WB (see pattern callout)- Circle skirt starting at SS fits WB (see pattern callout)

Full coverage swimwear is often bulky, or frumpy and unattractive.I wanted to streamline the sihouette and add a sport feeling with the lighter textiles. I was widely inspired by the one-piece swimsuitsof the early 1900’s that were feminine and playful while also covering most of the body.
