News:
November was another busy
month! We had several members
from our club including DG Cal
Bushek and first lady Vicki go to the
Cabinet Meeting in Las Vegas. There
was a new format so that
participants could participate in
training. Lion Barbara Hertz became
a guiding Lion.
We had members participate and
educate at a local health fair.
Members from our club visited Day-
ton Valley Lions Club to Participate
in their Quarter mania Fundraiser.
It was lots of fun. It consisted of
bidding for items in multiples of
$.25. Nothing was over a $1.00.
Everyone had a chance to bid and
the number called won the prize.
Great idea.
We had a special speaker, Author
and editor of the Silver Sage, Len
Semas come and talk about the
importance of reading to children
and how many social skills are
being lost because of the digital
age.
We also had a club Thanksgiving
Dinner will all the yummie
trimmings.
