Aheli is an Asha Fellows identified for her work in the Right to Information

movement. She, along with Saurabh, is organizing college students and youth to use RTI as a tool to take up socially relevant issues and initiate systemic

chances. Through workshops, seminars, campaigns etc they have

trained and energized students in the Delhi, Noida area and have also trained citizen groups in West Bengal, Orissa and Bihar. Using RTI they plans to

improve the MCD schools. The funds under the fellowship program are used

to fund the fellow’s living expenses.




Saurabh is an Asha Fellows identified for his work in the Right to Information

movement. He, along with Aheli, is organizing college students and youth to use RTI as a tool to take up socially relevant issues and initiate systemic

chances. The goals are to train college and university students in the use of

RTI to address issues directly affecting them; to initiate campaigns and do
