New General Offices Opened for The Akron

Monday marked the opening of the recently completed gen­ eral offices of the Akron Co., at 5120 Melrose Ave., in Los Angeles.

The building is a modern single-story structure of brick, steel, and glass. It will be (lie nerve center of a retail busi­ ness which spans six continents and, in its construction, major emphasis has been placed upon insuring smoothness and coor­ dination.
