URBANA TIMES QUARTERLY

The blessings of Maa Durga certainly did well for us as Urbana saw a host of happy celebrations over the last few months. Urbana also got recognised by quite a few prestigious real estate bodies. Urbana won `Best Luxury Apartment Project' and `Best Residential High-rise Project' awards at The Best Real Estate Brands Awards 2018 presented by The International Brand Equity.

In the coming days, we were announced the ̀ Best CSR Initiative of the Year by a Real Estate Firm' at the Real Estate and Infrastructure Round Table Awards, presented by DNA. Our Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing), Mrs. Debjani Mookherjee won two awards, namely, `Women Super Achiever in Real Estate sector by West Bengal Real Estate Leadership' & `Marketer of the Year by ET Now'.

Urbana saw two major marathons with huge participation from Urbanites! The 1st ever ultramarathon for the Kolkata Runners, titled Kolkata Ultra 60K saw a massive turnout at Urbana with enthusiastic runners across varied ages happily making it to the finish line! The Tata Steel 25K Run saw many Urbanites participate with enthusiasm and splendor.

Then as Christmas came near, Urbana caught the festive fever. On the eve of the new year, Urbana was ready to embrace another year of hope, joy, fun, and laughter!

All in all, the past quarter was very auspicious to us. I wish everyone a delightful new year. May we all live a grander life at Urbana.

Duvall celebrations

'This Diwali, may the lights guide us home' - such was the idea in our minds. Over the cityscape, Urbana shone brightly in the night sky on Diwali and Kali Puba. Urbana witnessed a gathering of excited Urbanites who engaged in making the most beautiful Rangolis all across the 7 towers.

The exuberant residents of Urbana organised Deep Utsav, a night full of laughter, fun, and frolic on the Central Lawns of Urbana. It was quite an eventful experience with a host of activities by Urbanites followed by a grand musical performance. Overall, the festival of lights brought to Urbana laughter and boy!

Urbana at Marathons

The 1st ever ultra marathon for the Kolkata Runners - Kolkata Ultra 6oK saw a massive turnout at Urbana with enthusiastic runners across varied ages (18 and above) happily making it to the finish line! Alongside, Urbanites promptly participated in the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K marathon where the residents completed many a mile

with a smile!

During Christmas & New Year, the residents of Urbana got decked up, and rejoiced to the happy vibe of celebration. Everyone took part in the Cake Mixing activity as the residents of Urbana came together on Christmas. The New Year celebrations were in full throttle as Urbanites swayed to the happy tunes played and performed by Indian Idol 4 Finalist, Bollywood Singer Priyanka Negi & DJ Ankur (from Mumbai).

This year's Republic Day marked the 70th year of India being a republican country. Urbana celebrated the day's significance with a host of events where Urbanites joined across all ages. On the morning of 26th January, Urbana saw the prestigious flag hoisting ceremony followed by the garlanding ceremony. There was indeed pride in everyone's faces and emotions ran high as we all took a moment to thank the patriots of incredible India. The children participated in a fancy dress event with 'patriotism' being the theme. Young Urbanites dressed up as army officials; officers, with one child even impersonating Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The elderly veterans of Urbana greeted one another with badges and shawls. The event of Republic Day was in totality, a day to take pride in our achievements as a community of changemakers.
