If you have registered for HNB internet banking online, your login user ID will be system generated, and will compose only of numerical values. This maybe a hassle, therefore, we have introduced a method to change your user ID. After your user ID has been altered, you may login using your newly set user ID and current password. Click on the ‘Security Settings’ under ‘My proile.’ It will lead you to the following page. 1 2 Click on ‘Update channel login ID’ 3 You can change your user login ID in your internet proile, SMS banking proile, and your USSD banking proile (If available). Enter preferred ID ( Follow the rules as displayed)and click on the green arrow. A conirmation screen will appear. Recheck your preferred ID and if correct, Click on the green arrow. The next screen will request your OTP through your 2FA (SMS OTP, Hardware token, or Mobile OTP) method, or your transaction password to conirm the alternation of the Channel user ID. After conirmation you will receive a notiication. Here onwards, you must enter the newly set User ID to login to Internet banking or mobile banking. 4 5
