Bio:Melody Longstreth
Melody has been working at the Chamber for 25 years now as Executive Director. Though this was
“Increasing the success of our member’s
businesses.”
Not her original dream, her love for the Chamber has continued to grow. “No two days are the same! The variety of the job certainly keeps it enjoyable and entertaining.”
Benefits of MembershipThe Chamber will continue to work to improve the area economy and quality of life. Through this they offer membership benefits such as: networking, business after hours, web presence, committee meetings, special events, and more.
Educational Fund Scholarship
The Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund Committee has announced that the 25th annual scholarship will be awarded to Taylor Crowe of Waynesburg.
This scholarship, the twenty-fifth for the Chamber, is presented each year to a Greene County senior who plans to attend a college, university or trade school. The scholarship is awarded based on grade point average and a 500 word essay.
2015 DSA WinnersAnnually, the Chamber of Commerce recognizes individuals and organizations based on commitment to the community and service outreach. These awards are not based on work done for the Chamber. Individual- Judge William Nalitz Organization- Waynesburg Moose
