Marvelous Kids Playgroup.
We strive to promote 'Life-Long Learning in Whole Person Development' to different service targets. Through whole
person development centre, professional training centre and school project team, we strive to achieve the goals via our service from different models and service forms.

New Look of the Centre
Jackie Chan Whole Person Development Centre has successfully completed the renovation on 4/F in March 2017. Each room has been redesigned to set up a number of well-equipped learning spaces, including a brand-new e-learning language room and a high-intensity sun-light
dancing room. While the learning environment has been enhanced, a new series of courses such as STEM courses promoting Science , Technology , Engineering and Mathematics would also be introduced to students.
Playgroup
Based on the theory of physical and mental development of children, the centre has redesigned the whole series of playgroup courses last year to catch up with the pace of the changing society. To develop a progressive curriculum for different children and parents, learning elements was added into the courses by categories. In the year of 2016-2017, 529 kids joined 76 playgroups in 556 classes.

Dance Performance
Adhering to the Centre's approach to dance learning in recent
years, learning target has been set up for each student to demonstrate their study results through stage performances
and competitions. Joining outside performance and competition has gradually become a feature of the dancing course. There
were 43 dance courses organised in 2016-2017, including ABRSM Ballet Classes, CSTD Jazz Classes, Jazz and Ballet for kids and parents. Some of the Classes has obtained
notable achievement last year, such as Champion of Pre-school Category in '8th Dance of Hong Kong' ; Champion
of Pre-school Category and first runner-up of Kids Category in 'King of Stage 2016'; organised by the Hong Kong International
Exchange of Artist And Culture Association , Silver award of Kids Category in 'The 37th Sha Tin District Dance Competition'
organised by Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Furthermore, the classes were also invited to perform in 'Standard Chartered Arts in the Park' for two consecutive years.
STEM
In addition to providing after-school learning support to primary and secondary schools and kindergartens, our School Service has also provided STEM learning support services to
schools last year, which not only equips students to develop a better foundation in science, technology and mathematics ,
but also increases their interest in the related fields to cope with future challenges in our society.
Personality Dimensions®
A 4-day training workshop - 'Level 2 Facilitator - Trainer Training Course ' was held in Pentahotel Hong Kong ,
Kowloon last year. Personality Dimensions ® is not only a new and interactive interpersonal communication analysi s
system that provides practical ideas on how various personalities learn , communicate , and interact w ith each other , but also promotes self-esteem and self- worth of
students through the process of self-discovery. Students w ill obtain a Level 2 Facilitator - Trainer qualification after
finishing the course .

With the completion of the first-phase renovation , the Jackie
Chan Whole Person Development Centre obtained a new look in both environment and courses. In the future , the
center will continue to meet the rapid changing needs of the society, provide suitable services , and introduce different
learning elements, including the development on science and technology related courses, and redesign the curriculum of
the language series courses. School Service Projects w ill also redefine the development direction and formulate long-term development goals and plans in line with the
development of the Agency.
