Notes 1. The certification covers double leaf doorsets with leaves of equal or unequal width.
2. Double leaf doorsets incorporating the Mico 942 two-point locking mechanism on the passive leaf shall have the same internal operation as the locking mechanism on the active leaf.
3. Certification does not cover the use of locks or optional design features / accessories other than those listed. Utilisation of unlisted locks/options may affect the level of security afforded by the doorset.
4. Access control locks shall be fail secure version only. The resistance of the access control locks and mechatronic cylinders to “non-mechanical” attack is not covered by this approval as they are outside the scope of LPS 1175: Issue 8. Likewise, the approval does not cover possible effects of any susceptibilities relating to the functionality and performance of any access control equipment that may be used to operate these locking systems / cylinders. This is because the scope of access control devices and system configurations that may be used with these locking systems is “infinite”. It is therefore recommended that specifiers satisfy themselves that the components used are either resistant to mechanical and other forms of tampering/abuse, or that they are suitably protected from such tampering/abuse and are resistant to any environmental conditions/interference that may cause the locking system to disengage.
5. A ‘Plus’ rating as defined in the compatible cylinders table demonstrates the cylinder meets the requirements defined in Annex A of BS 3621:2007 or manipulation resistance class ‘1’ defined in LPS 1242: Issue 2.
6. Please refer to the manufacturer for more details on the position of the louvre vents within the door leaf.
7. The doorsets are certified for installation in accordance with the instructions contained on documents titled ‘SR4 - Design and Supply - Fitting Instructions for Steel Hinge Doors’ (Issue 2, dated July 2020).
